Sentence Prediction in Children
The purpose of this study is to examine how children’s vocabulary knowledge affects their overall language comprehension.
Who can participate?
- Children with language difficulties or suspected of having language difficulties
- Ages 5-7 years old
- Exposed to English since birth
- Normal hearing
Your child may have difficulties with language if they:
- Need extra support at school
- Are having a hard time learning to read or write
- Have difficulty following directions or staying on task
- Act out or become quiet in social settings
Time Commitment
Five 1-hour sessions. First session is a qualification session. Additional sessions will be scheduled after eligibility is determined.

Compensation
Participants will receive $20/hour, a small prize after each visit, and a free hearing and language evaluation.
