Understanding Device Candidacy in Children with Hearing Loss
Who can participate?
Eligible participants are:
- Children age 6 to 13 with moderate to profound hearing loss in both ears
- Hearing aid users
Participants must also speak English as their primary language.
What will my child do?
During the study, participants will:
- Complete 1 to 2 visits lasting 4 hours total
- Listen to sounds, words, and sentences
- Answer questions about what they hear
- Complete a hearing test
Compensation
Participants will be compensated $20 per hour.
