Learning Verb Meaning Through Repeated Retrieval
Principal Investigator: Justin Kueser, CCC-SLP, PhD
- Who: Children with language difficulties. Children with language difficulties may have difficulty following directions or staying on task, act out or become quiet in social settings, have a hard time learning to read or write, and/or need extra support in school.
- Age: 5-8 years old
- Compensation: Up to $90 cash, five small prizes, and a free hearing and language evaluation
- Time: Four 1-hour sessions and one 2-hour session. 6 hours total across five sessions. First session is a qualification session. Additional sessions will be scheduled after eligibility is determined.
- Visit Type: In-person
- Location: Boys Town Medical Campus - Downtown, Boys Town Speech-Language Clinic, local library
- Requirements: Children should be 5-8 years old with language difficulties. Children should have normal hearing (i.e., no hearing loss). Children should have been exposed to English since birth.
